Job Title: Director of Partnerships
Location: Camden Yards Sports Complex
Reports To: Chief Commercial Officer
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Director of Partnerships to manage and grow our corporate partners and public entity relationships. This individual will be responsible for managing existing partner accounts, ensuring successful outcomes across all partnership initiatives and deliverables, and supporting and driving business development efforts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, be a strategic thinker, and have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner Management:
- Establish, nurture, and manage relationships with business partners to ensure long-term success and mutual benefit.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fulfilling contracted deliverables.
- Develop and implement strategies for partner engagement, and collaboration to meet business objectives.
- Sales & Sales Support:
- Collaborate with Chief Commercial Officer and internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute sales strategies, identify partner prospects, generate new leads, and drive revenue growth.
- Provide sales support through partnership outreach, proposal creation, and negotiation.
- Leverage CRM system to manage the sales pipeline, track partner interactions, sales progress, performance metrics and executive and board reporting.
- Conduct prospect research to identify potential new partners, analyze market trends, and develop targeted outreach strategies.
- Presentation Development:
- Create compelling presentations and sales collateral tailored to potential and existing partners.
- Deliver high-impact presentations to C-level executives, decision-makers, and key stakeholders, clearly articulating value propositions and partnership opportunities.
- Communication & Professional Presence:
- Maintain a strong professional presence in all interactions with internal and external teams, partners, and stakeholders.
- Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas, strategies, and solutions.
- Ensure clear and consistent messaging across all partner communication channels.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sport and/or entertainment marketing, partner management, and business development.
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in google Workspace and Office365 applications, primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms).
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Proven track record in creating and delivering effective sales presentations.
- Experience in prospect research and identifying new partnership opportunities.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).

Compensation
Compensation is between $75,000 – $85,000 plus benefits for this position, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
