With almost 30 years in the events industry Bob Sicard joined the Sport & Entertainment Corporation of Maryland in May of 2022 as the Senior Projects Director
Previously Sicard held roles as the Senior Development Officer – Corporate Sponsorship and Development Director for the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts (BOPA) for 21 years. There he played an integral role in fundraising and leading corporate sponsorship sales for the non-profit organization that served as the arts council, event center and film office for the city of Baltimore. His roles also assisted in producing major events and festivals including Artscape, Light City, Baltimore Book Festival, Baltimore’s 4th of July and New Year’s Eve Fireworks Shows, Baltimore Farmers’ Market, Star Spangled Sailabration, Star Spangled Spectacular, the Baltimore Ravens 2013 Super Bowl Parade and more.
Prior to BOPA Sicard served as the Director of Corporate Participation for Medalist Sports Inc. who produced North American pro cycling stage races the Tour de Trump and Tour DuPont from 1989 to 1996.
